This jug has become a favourite of mine, sitting on my desk holding spare stems as I work. Hand painted with flowers, a gilt edge and a slightly crackled glaze give it the best sort of character that only comes with age. I have finally given it the attention it deserves and filled it with an arrangement to complement its bright, joyful design.
This arrangement features large deep pink and soft blush pink dahlias, sky blue delphiniums - my absolute favourites from last season’s growing, eucalyptus and a variety of soft yellows.
