A spring dried flower wedding with a retro vibe

Laurianne and Joe asked for spring in their flowers; lots of colour but nothing too overpowering. Using smaller flowers and light, highly textured greens such as wild grasses and cress, I created the wild-flower look they were after.

Laurianne and her bridesmaids each had a dried flower headband to match their bouquets. Seeing the photographs of them in their beautiful dresses, long hair down, Joe’s lovely tweed, and all with a backdrop of half-timbered houses and vintage VW camper - was such a delight!

Two meadow boxes worked together to make one long arrangement used both at the wedding ceremony and as a top table decoration - a very easy transition I would highly recommend.

Laurianne and Joe’s day was captured by bellesandconfetti who uses a combination of analogue and digital photography to such brilliant effect - the perfect complement to the retro touches of this day!
